National Army soldiers to take part in military parade in Bucharest

A contingent of Moldovan soldiers on Friday left for Bucharest to take part in the military parade that will be staged there on December 1 on the occasion of Romania’s National Day, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the Moldovan detachment consists of 16 officers, soldiers and sergeants of the Honor Guard Company of the General Staff Regiment. They will march in the Triumphal Arch Square in Bucharest alongside members of the military of Romania, Belgium, France, North Macedonia, Portugal, the United States and the Netherlands and of allied countries contributing to the NATO structures in Romania.

The Moldovan contingent will be led by captain Vitalie Josan, while the state flag will be carried by sergeant Sergiu Cebîrciu.

The Republic of Moldova has taken part in the military parade in Romania since 2014.
