The peacekeepers of the National Army of Moldova forming part of the KFOR-13 contingent are completing their duties. They will return home from Kosovo in several days after a mission that has lasted for almost six months, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Defense.
“Until then, these continue to work in the area of responsibility, patrolling and developing the best medical evacuation practices, while the explosive ordnance disposal technicians are training their comrades from Slovenia,” the Ministry has said.
The thirteen contingent of the kind consists of 41 service members, namely: a light infantry platoon, a team of EOD technicians and a meteorologist. The current contingent went on its peacekeeping mission on July 12, 2020.
