Natalia Levchenkov wins bronze at world champs

Moldovan biathlonist Natalia Levchenkov won bronze in the 7.5 km sprint event at the Summer Biathlon World Companionships, Info-Prim Neo reports. This is the second bronze medal won by Natalia at the champs. Levchenkov missed no shooting target and climbed to the third position on the podium. The 32-year-old athlete has thus qualified for the 10 km pursuit race. In the same spring event for juniors, Alexandra Camenshchic ranked 33rd and will also compete in the pursuit race. In the men’s 10 km sprint event, Serghei Balan finished 67th, while junior Victor Panzaru ranked 11th and will participate in the pursuit race.
