In the program “Politics” on TV7 channel, the minister said they will discuss the visit of Prime Minister Iurie Leanca to Moscow, set to be paid at the end of May. In Moscow, Leanca will have a meeting with Russian Premier Dmitry Medvedev, IPN reports.

The minister said that Moldova and Russia have many issues to discuss and resolve and there is no taboo subject in this respect. The Russian side will also be familiarized with the provisions of the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Agreement with the EU, at the request of Russia. The provisions were already translated into Russian and can be discussed in a bilateral meeting.

They will also discuss migration-related subjects. A bilateral agreement on migration management is expected to be signed in the meeting of Iurie Leanca and Dmitry Medvedev.

Another subject for discussion will be Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Chisinau, scheduled for the end of April. “We now need this dialogue. We must address all the difficult subjects,” stated Natalia Gherman.

As to the situation in the Transnistrian region, the minister said the region poses no imminent military dangers. A group consisting of ministers and police chiefs meets daily in Chisinau to discuss topical issues.

Natalia Gherman also said that Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov is also due to visit Moscow. His visit will be preceded by the visit of Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin to Chisinau on April 2.
