The Investment Agency has a new director. This is Natalia Bejan, who until recently held the post of executive director of Startup Moldova, Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitization, posted on Facebook.

Dumitru Alaiba said that Natalia Bejan passed the contest. She has international experience and for many years worked in the private sector in the Czech Republic and China. “But what is the most important thing, I saw competence, dedication and wish to contribute in her,” wrote the official.

He noted that the Republic of Moldova is greatly in need of investment. This is a large part of the solution for re-ensuring sustainable growth in the national economy, with highly-paying jobs, with innovations and opportunities for business. “I’m glad to see that an increasing number of people leave their comfort zone, leave the high-paying jobs and are ready to work hand in hand. This way, we consolidate the team of Invest Moldova. I’m confident that together we will make the team even stronger,” wrote the minister.

“It is an honor and a responsibility. I assume them very consciously and come with the intention to deliver a maximum impact possible for Moldova,” noted Natalia Bejan.

According to official reports, Natalia Bejan graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and then obtained a master’s degree in economics from the Charles University in Prague.
