Andrei Năstase, who ran as an independent candidate for President, urges the people not to vote for politics or geopolitics in the runoff election, not for billboards with fake photos and empty promises. "Vote first of all for yourselves, for your children and parents, for your families and for our big Moldovan family, for a great people, with their heads held high and not with their hands outstretched," said the politician, quoted by IPN.

The former candidate called on the people to go to the polls thinking about authentic reforms, which must be carried out, not mimicked, the fight against poverty, corruption and smuggling, lower prices and higher incomes, decent salaries, pensions and allowances, peace and tranquility, Moldovan families who must be reunited at home.

According to Andrei Năstase, the way the election campaign for the runoff vote is being conducted shows that the regime did not understand anything from the protest vote.

"Instead of responding to people's dissatisfactions and anger, including related to the way they compromised our European integration, they hold public debates about debates, about how to debate with the political opponent,  a show in which forms without content are once again displayed," noted the politicians.

In the October 20 election, Andrei Năstase won 0.64% of the vote, ranking ninth among the 11 candidates for the position of President.
