The head of the Council of the Great National Assembly Andrei Nastase, after a meeting with representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Moldova, said a main conclusion is that the Delegation will continue to be making effort and will encourage the Moldovan authorities to communicate with the Intermediation and Representation Group, IPN reports.

Andrei Nastase noted the meeting was a very good one and approved of the fact that the representatives of the EU Delegation reacted immediately and the discussions took place so swiftly. “We will now see how much the rulers’ attitude to what happened today and the previous days changes,” he stated.

In a news conference held today in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau, representatives of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” reiterated the invitation to dialogue to the Prime Minister, President and Head of Parliament. These are expected to come to a meeting with representatives of the protesters in the Government Building at 5pm.
