The National Agency For Energy Regulation (NAER) has raised the specific trade margin on the retail of the main oil products of standard type for the second half of 2023. This will be of 3.08 lei/liter, up from 2.91 lei/liter in the first half of this year, IPN reports.
According to the Agency, the given trade margin includes all the costs incurred by market operators on the import and sale of oil products. The previous profit margin was updated based on the consumer price index for the last six months (December 2022 – May 2023), which is of 5.75%.
As a result, the maximum value of the costs and profit basket that can be included in the retrial prices of oil products grew by 0.17 lei/liter. This was the first adjustment of the value since 2021.
