NAC officers to monitor exams at Baccalaureate centers

Officers of the National Anticorruption Center (NAC) will be delegated to supervise the Baccalaureate exams through the agency of surveillance cameras at Baccalaureate centers. The NAC warns the acceptance of undue presents or illegal rewards in exchange for favors carries disciplinary punishment, while in the case of managers – criminal liability as well, IPN reports.

The NAC officers are in direct contact, through an online platform, with the heads and secretaries of Baccalaureate centers and with education division heads and discuss a number of issues concerning the integrity requirements in the assessment process. The teachers are urged to show correctness, responsibility and integrity in the monitoring of exams and grading of test papers. The managers of all levels are informed about the professional integrity standards.

This year the exams will be sat at 93 Baccalaureate centers, 31 of which are situated in the municipality of Chisinau. The 2021 exam session will involve 16,773 candidates, 185 of whom are students who didn’t pass exams the previous sessions.

The Baccalaureate session will be held during June 4-22.
