NAC completed examination of alleged enrichment of Andrei Spînu

The facts invoked in the denouncement of fugitive politician Ilan Shor, about the alleged unjust enrichment of Andrei Spînu, weren’t confirmed. The National Anticorruption Center (NAC) said that it issued a conclusion on the completion of the examination of the case. The copy of the Center’s official response was published by Andrei Spînu in social media, IPN reports.

The document attached by the minister shows that as a result of verifications, the information about the possession of accounts in OCBC Wing Hang Bank, which is a subsidiary of Oversea Chinese Banking Corporation of Singapore, by Andrei Spînu and by Moresense Partners LLC and Focus Marketing LLC, wasn’t confirmed.

Andrei Spînu noted there is no evidence to substantiate the accusations made against him. Those attacks were launched with only one goal – to split and to stop the European path of Moldova.

Last year, Ilan Shor invoked alleged documents showing that Andrei Spînu is a multimillionaire and he hides his money in offshore accounts. In March, the National Anticorruption Center informed that it was examining the denouncement.
