The Border Police discovered munitions and narcotic substances of vegetal origin in the homes of Soroca inhabitants who are suspected of forming part of a criminal group, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Border Police, four searches were carried out simultaneously at the homes of members of a criminal group that smuggled a new type of drugs called “Hidrapon” from the EU to Russia, through Moldova’s territory.
There were found four grenades, a Baikal pistol, seven cartridges and 350 grams of a substance looking like marijuana.
The grenades were detonated because they posed a threat, while the drugs, pistol and cartridges were seized.
