Municipality intends to design and build the aqueduct and the sewerage system in the Schinoasa-Deal district in the suburban Codru town. The conclusion was established within the frameworks of a meeting of the interim mayor Veaceslav Iordan with the responsible persons from “Apa–Canal Chisinau” JSC, Department of Capital Construction, and “Chisinau – Proiect” Institute. According to a press release from the PR Department of the City Hall, the project envisages the building of the aqueduct and the sewerage system for serving a sector of houses in the Schinoasa-Deal district in Codru. The problem was discussed with a group of inhabitants this week. During the session it was established that the respective aqueduct will be 3 km long, and the sewerage systems – 5 km. Specialists affirm that the works will be operated in several stages. Initially, both objects will be designed. This works are to be fully financed from the municipal budget. Expenses for the construction of the aqueduct and the sewerage system will be supported at a 75% rate by the Chisinau Municipal Council. Other resources are to be allotted from the town budget of Codru. Interim mayor proposed the creation of a work group, which would examine thoroughly all the aspects of the problem, so that solutions be identified in shortest time.
