Pupils of the „Iulia Hasdeu” lyceum are not supplied with hot meals. The interim head of the Department of education, science, youth and sport, Tatiana Nagnibeda, during an operative meeting of the City Hall, declared that the pupils are fed with packages brought from other canteens, and requested from the Capital Construction Department (CCD) to hurry the build of their canteen. The head of the CCD, Tudor Gnaciuc, declared that the canteen of the lyceum will not be finished soon, as it is part of a 3 floor building that will be constructed on the lyceum’s territory. According to Gnaciuc, the canteen will not be finished until the required MDL 36 million are not allocated. This year, for the construction of the building only MDL 4 million 36 thousand were offered. According to Gnaciuc, the priority has the repair of the intersection of Tudor Vladimirescu and Calea Orheiului Streets, which will start on October 2 and will last until November 28. For this project MDL 15 million are required, and if they will not be allocated the reconstruction could last until spring. Gnaciuc declared that besides this, another MDL 18-20 million are required for the finalization of Ismail Street reconstruction, stopped because of lacks of materials announced by the „Edilitate” JSC.
