The Chisinau City Hall created a new minibus route no. 138 to Humulesti. This route is intended to improve the service of the inhabitants of Humulesti village with passenger transport. The route will be opened on September 10 as result of the request from the Mayoralty of Bubuieci village, of which Humulesti is part of. According to the order of the interim mayor Vasile Ursu, the route no. 138 will have the following itinerary: Balanescu Street, Avram Iancu Street, Ismail Street, Uzinelor Street, Industriala Street, Humulesti Village. Ursu ordered that the route administration will be «Taxi-Service» LTD. According to the order of the interim mayor, the General Department of public transport and communications will make the required modifications to the transport network, and the Mayoralty of the Bubuieci village is compelled to assure proper traffic conditions for the route under unfavorable climacteric conditions. Previously, the City Hall announced that it will lay the road from Humulesti to Bubuieci village in order to arrange a public traffic route for the Humulesti residents. The municipality hopes to get additional financial support from the state budget and from the “Macon” bricks factory from Chisinau, which uses this road. There are approx. 240 families in Humulesti, and the children are forced to go to Mereni village school from Anenii Noi region because of the lack of transport to Bubuieci. At present the project of the road is prepared, which will determine the financial requirements for the project. According to the mayor, the estimated costs are MDL 13 million.
