Young people aged between 18 and 35 years are encouraged to apply for the 2016 Municipal Youth Prizes, which are annually awarded by the Chisinau City Council's Education Division for achievements in science, technical innovation, literature, arts, and citizen engagement, IPN reports.

The Division said in a press release that applications may be submitted either individually or by groups of up to five persons.

Proposals may also be submitted by the Academy of Sciences, higher education institutions, research institutions, creation unions, youth NGOs, youth periodicals, and local administration divisions dealing with youth matters.
