The Chisinau Health Division will carry out inspections at the municipal divisions to see how they implement measures aimed at preventing the pandemic flu, Info-Prim Neo reports. At Monday's meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, the Division's head Mihai Moldovanu said that 13 A (H1N1) influenza virus cases have been recorded in Moldova so far, including seven in Chisinau. Fifty-eight suspect cases of A (H1N1) flu virus have been reported in Chisinau, said Iurie Panzaru, chief doctor-sanitarian of Chisinau. According to him, some of the dormitories do not have specially outfitted rooms, hand driers and liquid soap. Irregularities were also identified in the Chisinau markets. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said that the hygiene and sanitation conditions should be improved. Ninety-six suspect A (H1N1) flu virus cases had been reported in Moldova by September 14. The presence of the virus was confirmed in 13 cases.
