The people who celebrated the Independence Day in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau left less litter behind them than last year. The head of the municipal cleanup company “Exdrupo” Efim Cheptanari said two trucks of garbage have been collected from the square.

The quantity is smaller than last year because the number of people who took part in the celebrations was lower, Efim Cheptanari has told IPN.

The situation in parks is different. The head of the Green Areas Association Eliferii Haruta said the waste collection works involved 40 persons and four garbage trucks. The company’s employees gathered five trucks of garbage, which is more than the previous years.
