A chain-reaction crash involving six vehicles happened on the viaduct that connects the Centru and Botanica districts of Chisinau in the morning of July 8.

Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati has told IPN that the recordings of the video cameras placed on the viaduct will be examined to see which of the drivers didn’t obey the distance between cars and if the drivers were speeding.

Nobody was hurt in the accident, but the traffic was hampered. A police patrol is managing the traffic flow on the spot.

Natalia Stati said the driver who will be found guilty faces a fine of 1,000 lei and six penalty points.
