Multilingual teaching expanded to nine more institutions
The program of multilingual teaching was expanded to nine more pre-university education institutions in the country. For three days, the pedagogues engaged in the project are trained to teach in Romanian, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Education, the program of social and linguistic integration of foreign language pupils was tested last year in 10 Russian-language lyceums. Beginning with 2012-2013, the program is implemented in 19 Russian-language schools.
Currently, there are 42 teachers involved in the project. They teach 8 subjects, including science, physical education, civic education, musical education, moral-spiritual education, technical education and plastic education, in 56 foreign-language classes.
There are 240 Russian-language classes in Moldova.
