MPs Ivanov and Vitiuc join Shor Party’s group

The Shor Party announced that MPs Violeta Ivanov and Vladimir Vitiuc, who left the Democratic Party last week, joined the anti-governmental bloc crated recently and decided to join the party’s parliamentary group. The two noted that they will be able to implement their electoral program only alongside the Shor Party. Contacted by IPN, Violeta Ivanov and Vladimir Vitiuc were unavailable for comment.

In its press release, the Shor Party says that it welcomes the decision of the two MPs. “We consider that the Shor Party is the only political organization in the current Parliament that showed its devotion to the people’s interests. This party, even if it has been in the opposition, implemented important social and infrastructure projects and has a viable economic program and concrete solutions for overcoming the crisis faced by the country,” reads the press release.

In her announcement of the decision to leave the PDM, Violeta Ivanov said that she and her mate Vladimir Vitiuc decided to respond the call of their former colleague Andrian Candu, who proposed strengthening the parliamentary opposition by a national solidarity bloc.
