The Speaker will announce the date of the next sitting of the Parliament after the leaders of the four parties that formed the Alliance for European Integration hold consultations. The PDM president Marian Lupu said that the decision will be made public at the latest on September 3, Info-Prim Neo reports. At the end of Wednesdayʾs sitting, the MP of the PDM Dumitru Diacov proposed that the next meeting be held on September 4, while the AEI could meet on September 3 to formulate the agenda. “From September 4, the Parliament could work according to all the requirements and there could be elected the executive bodies. We are a united alliance and we must show his solidarity by concrete acts,” Dumitru Diacov said. Vlad Filat, the president of the PLDM, replied that they should not set dates that could be invalid later. Marian Lupu said that there are number of options. The meeting should be organized the next days, even on September 4. It would be a good occasion for the MPs to meet together and discuss, he said. However, he reminded that the PCRM filed an application to the Constitutional Court and they should expect its decision first and then decide what steps to take further. At the first sitting of the new Parliament on August 28, after the president of the Constitutional Court spoke about the results of the July 29 election, the PCRM asked for a break until September 4 in order to to form its parliamentary group. Afterward, the Communist MPs left the assembly hall. The AEI continued the meeting in the absence of the PCRM. The four Liberal-Democratic parties announced the constitution of their parliamentary groups and named the PL leader Mihai Ghimpu as Speaker. On September 2, they held a new sitting that the PCRM did not attend. On Wednesday, the PCRM had a plenary meeting. Asked if the PMs of the PCRM will go to the Parliamentʾs sitting scheduled for September 4, Communist Mark Tkachuk said they will go.
