MPs come together for extraordinary session

The lawmakers will hold an extraordinary session on January 21 within which they will constitute a commission of inquiry. The commission is to elucidate the circumstances of the hunting in the scientific reserve “Padurea domneasca”, in which high-ranking officials took part, allegedly illegally, and of the hiding of the accidental shooting of a man, during it, Info-Prim Neo reports. The creation of the commission of inquiry was proposed by the Liberal-Democratic faction, which insisted on calling an extraordinary session of Parliament. Earlier, MP Igor Dodon, who heads the Party of Socialists, said that he will support the constitution of such a commission. Meanwhile, the three state functionaries who participated in the hunting resigned. Former judge Gheorghe Cretu is accused of unintentionally killing a man on December 23.
