MP Sergiu Litvinenco (ACUM/PAS) is urging current ministerial secretaries and heads of local State Chancellery offices to resign. After Parliament on Friday gave these posts a public dignity status upgrade, Litvinenco says the incumbent secretaries have to leave in order to “unblock the activity of ministries.”
During the next 30 days, there could be situations where state secretaries are both new appointees and aides of the previous PDM government, “who will take salaries without doing any work” and leading to “unnecessary costs”.
Either way, ministerial secretaries and State Chancellery heads appointed by the previous government will be dismissed in 30 days, and Sergiu Litvinenco encourages the ones who are “professional, honest, and didn’t engage in illegal campaigning for PDM” to apply for their jobs again.
