Liviu Vovc, MP of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”, asked the Central Election Commission (CEC), to estimate the cost of holding snap parliamentary elections, IPN reports.
“In the recent past, the public sphere discussions centered mostly on the necessity of inducing snap parliamentary elections as swiftly as possible. The DA Platform considers the current Parliament does not represent the people’s will and a new Parliament should be elected, with a larger number of responsible MPs,” Liviu Vovc posted on a social networking site.
“Even if it’s not clear how snap elections will be induced, it is evident that the people want these elections to take place and we will insist on them. So as not to have surprises later, we requested the Central Election Commission to communicate the cost of holding snap parliamentary elections, the deadline before snap elections by which actions should be taken to ensure the proper organization of the process and if it has the necessary financial resources in its budget.”
