Unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea demanded questioning the chairman of the national public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) Constantin Marin and the head of the company’s Supervisory Board (SB) Eugeniu Rybka in Parliament in connection with the resignation filed by the director of the public TV channel Moldova 1 Angela Sarbu, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We must find out what’s going on in the company. It’s not for the first time that the director of the public TV channel tenders her resignation. She argued that the initiated reforms are not carried out,” said Mihai Godea. For the first time, Angela Sarbu handed in her resignation last December, but withdrew it later. She said then that the structural reform of Teleradio-Moldova reached a crucial stage, when it either becomes irreversible or maintains the state of affairs when no programs of a high quality useful for the viewers can be produced. “The company’s administration assured me there is will for this reform to be implemented as soon as possible,” the director of Moldova 1 said last December. Angela Sarbu offered again her resignation at the end of February, but did not comment on her decision.
