The Communist Party (PCRM) excluded lawmaker Alexandr Petcov from the party for the reason that he broke the PCRM’s statutes. The decision on the exclusion was taken unanimously, the PCRM says in a communiqué, quoted by IPN.
Earlier this week, Alexandr Petcov announced that he will run in the November 30 parliamentary elections on the list of the Party “Patria”, which is headed by Renato Usatyi. Petcov said then that he does not intend to leave the PCRM even if the decision to run on the list of another party wasn’t coordinated with the party.
In its November 21 meeting, the Central Election Commission approved the changes made by the Party “Patria” to its list of candidates. Petcov was written under No. 3.
