MP Braghis to deliver harsh criticism of communists in speech
Citizens of Moldova lose their trust in what turned to be communists’ lies, and their willingness to dismiss this incompetent government is growing, says the draft of a speech by MP Dumitru Braghis, leader of the Social Democracy Party, intended for the Parliament’s sitting.
According to the speech, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, about 700,000 working places have been liquidated in the years of the communist government. Wages and pensions remain wretched. Independent experts attest that in the years of communist government the pensions increased in real terms by only 0.65 lei, taking into consideration the increase in prices.
Braghis accuses the current government of discrediting the European integration process and the relations with the neighbours.
Concerning the economic situation, in the opinion of the MP, Moldova attained several “performances”: placed first in the world in what concerns the trade deficit and occupied the same place concerning the share of remittances in the GDP. At the same time, Moldova is the first among the countries with the lowest wages in Europe, registered the greatest inflation (14 %) and the lowest economic growth pace among the CIS member states.
According to Braghis, “even if Rosca’s order on the privatization of “Antena C” and “Euro TV Chisinau” is executed, the citizens know very well what is happening in the country. The attempt of the government to conceal the truth does not bring the intended results anymore, even if the ceasing of the live broadcasting of Parliamentary session will be decided”.
The conclusion on these years of sad government is that the entire corrupted communist clique should give up power for ever, the draft speech by MP Dumitru Braghis concludes.
