MP Alexandr Nesterovschi has been released from detention and put under house arrest instead, as ruled by the Chisinau/ Ciocana Court on Friday.
In September, Nesterovschi was taken into custody, as his fellow Renaissance Party member, MP Irina Lozovan, was placed under house arrest.
The two lawmakers are accused of accepting illegal funding from Ilan Shor’s criminal group.
