The floods of the Nistru and Prut rivers have made non-practicable motorways in seven Moldovan districts, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Transports Ministry. In Briceni district, on national road Ml4 Brest – Briceni – Chisinau – Tiraspol – Odesa, at kilometers 593 - 594 (Criva village) and at km 597 - 598 (Drepceuti village), the water stood 0.5- 0.6 m above the ground on July 29. The vehicles went on adjacent roads. On July 30, as the water withdrew, the road was unblocked. The local road L26 Briceni – Tabani – Corjeuti - Titcani, at km 13 (Caracusenii Vechi) is flooded over 200 m. The water level stood at 0.5-0.8 m above the ground. In Ocnita district, on the national road R51 Otaci - Ocnita, at km 7, the movement has resumed after the water withdrew. In Soroca village, the national motorway M2 Chisinau—Soroca—Ukrainian border, at km 167 - 168 (Cosauti), is flooded over 400 m. The sector comprised between km 3.9 – 4.3 of the local road LI 10 M2 — heading for Soroca is flooded over 400 m. The water is 0.3—0.4 m above the ground. The sector comprised between km 22.2—22.7 of the local road LI28 R54 Nimereuca—Cerlina is flooded, as the water stands 0.3—0.4 m above the ground. In Soldanesti district, 100 m of the road LI73 LI72—Vadul-Rascov – Climauti – Cot is flooded. The water level is l.2 – l.5 m above the ground. In Rezina district, the sector comprised between km 32—34 (Ciorna) of the local road LI74 Soldanesti – Alcedar – Ciorna is flooded. The water is 1.5 – 2.0 m above the ground as the traffic is directed to adjacent roads. On the local road L161 Rezina – Saharna Noua – Ciniseuti – Gordinesti, the secors 2-2+300 are flooded (the water level is 0.8 - 1 m high) and km 6-6+400 (l.4 – l.6 m). In Criuleni district, the national road R50 Criuleni – Holercani resort is flooded on the sector 3.5 – 3.8 (0.2 – 0.5 m high), as well as the local road L469 Vadul lui Voda —Balabanesti, km 2 – 2.3 (1.0 – 1.2 m). The road entering Vadul lui Voda is partially flooded at km 0 – 1.0 (0.3 – 0.5 m). The dam near Criuleni town is strengthened. The flooded portions of motorways are watched by authorities.
