The municipal authorities call on the drivers to avoid the sloping streets in Chisinau in connection with the unfavorable meteorological conditions. There are seven such streets in different districts of the capital city, IPN reports.

The motorists are urged to travel prudently on all the streets so as to avoid clashes and to enable snowplows to clean the roads swiftly. The sloping streets that should be avoided are: Ganea, Timis, Postei, Vadul lui Voda, Paris, Causeni and the bystreet Uzinelor.

The municipal services call upon the drivers to avoid parking the cars by the roadside and at the entrance to courts so as not to bar the snowplows’ access.

In Chisinau, 21 vehicles started to spread antiskid material at 6am, while about 400 sweepers began to clean snow from entrances to apartment buildings, waste collection platforms, sidewalks and pedestrian crossings. At 10am, they travelled in winter conditions on the streets of Chisinau.
