Motor civil liability insurance more expensive as of September 1

As from September 1, the basic premium for internal civil liability insurance for motor vehicles will cost 1,350 lei, IPN reports.

The premium for internal civil liability insurance for motor vehicles is set and updated at least once a year by the National Commission for Financial Markets.

For 2021, the average insurance paid was 14,897 lei, while the collected average insurance was 854 lei. The latter was lower than the basic insurance premium that is now 995 lei.
