A 39-year-old woman is suspected of killing her 5-year-old son and of trying to commit suicide afterward. It happened in a locality in Căușeni district. The information was confirmed for IPN by Mariana Didenco, press officer of the Căușeni Police Inspectorate.

The police found the woman with her throat cut. Her son was also in the house and he didn’t show any signs of life. 

The suspect is in the care of doctors. The authorities confirmed that the woman had mental health problems and was under the supervision of a psychiatrist. An examination will be carried out to see whether or not she was competent when she purportedly killed her child.
