The largest part of the education institutions in the course of March will switch over to online learning. By now, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research trained about 35% of the teachers in this regard, IPN quoted President Igor Dodon as saying after the March 23 meeting of senior state officials.
“A number of schools in Chisinau fully switched over to online learning. In the course of this month, we will try to cover the whole educational process, in most of the schools of the Republic of Moldova,” stated Igor Dodon.
Given the suspension of the educational process, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research proposed video tutorials for preparing ninth-twelfth graders for passing the national graduation exams 2020. The tutorials are also useful to teachers.
The tutorials are available on the official websites of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment. They will also become available on the Facebook pages of the Ministry and of the National Center for Digital Innovations in Education “Class of the Future”.
The videos will be broadcast by the national public broadcaster Moldova 1 from Monday through Friday and will be rerun on Saturday and Sunday on Moldova 2 TV channel.
The educational process at all levels of education was suspended from March 11 until March 31. Initially, the authorities halted the educational process until March 22 following the novel coronavirus outbreak.
