Most of investments next year will be injected into transport, road management and public amenities
The capital expenses planned in the draft state budget law for 2010 amount to 3.43 billion lei, by over 727 million lei more than in 2009. They make up 17.8% of the total expenditure, Info-Prim Neo reports.
A sum of 449 million lei will be allocated from the state budget for next year for capital investments in the construction sector, by about 23 million lei more than this year.
304 million lei will be used to implement investment projects through the agency of the central public authorities, while 145 million lei – through the local public authorities. The development partners in 2010 will continue to finance major projects and will provide 703 million lei for the purpose.
70% of investments next year will be injected into transport and road management and public amenities. The money will go to implement the Road Sector Program Support Project, the Energy II Project, projects to build aqueducts and sewerage systems and other investment projects.
The 145 million lei will be used to build gas pipelines in schools and to reconstruct water supply and sewerage systems.
A sum of 255 million lei will be directed for extensive repair works, practically the same level as this year.
