Fadei Nagacevschi, counsel to the Speaker, believes that the most appropriate solution for the situation created after the Government led by Maia Sandu was dismissed is for Igor Dodon to propose a technocratic executive, IPN reports.
“In one year we have presidential elections. In times of crisis, often crisis or technocratic governments are formed, when ministers are not associated with politicalparties and act as firefighters, so to speak. All the development partners tell us that the judicial reform must continue and the future Government will not just have to ensure a normal course of business until the elections, but will also have to take responsibility for implementing the judicial reform,” stated Fadei Nagacevschi on NTV Moldova.
Former deputy prime minister Alexandru Muravschi says that the future Government will be voted in very quickly, whether it is technocratic or not, and none of the political parties will resort to early parliamentary elections. In addition, the Socialists will not form any coalition with the Democrats on an official level and they will not sign any agreement, but PDM will simply vote for the PSRM initiatives. “Whether technocratic or not, this Government will be there to operate until the next parliamentary elections,” thinks Alexandru Muravschi. According to him, the next executive will be formed quickly so no one can criticize the Socialists and Democrats for having dismissed Sandu Government and for being unable to form a new one. Also, in his opinion, the deputies from ACUM bloc will be a tough opposition in the Parliament.
Alexandru Muravschi believes that there are zero chances to form a new coalition between the Socialist Party and ACUM bloc.
The political commentator Corneliu Ciurea also believes that the Socialists and Democrats will form a majority, but without them formalizing their collaboration by signatures. In his opinion, it is completely normal for the party with the most seats in Parliament to take over the government. The commentator also argues that now, one of the leaders of the ACUM bloc, Andrei Nastase is getting the worst of a lot of this. He has lost the position of deputy, and the position of minister, whereas other party members are quite visible in the public space.
The Cabinet led by Prime Minister Maia Sandu was dismissed yesterday, November 12, in the Parliament plenary. The motion of no confidence filed by the Socialist Party passed with the vote of 63 Socialist and Democratic MPs, as the Șor Party abstained and ACUM voted against.
