Moscow's reply: “There is no evidence that the drones downed in Moldova are russian”

The Russian Federation rejects accusations by Moldova's Foreign Ministry that the two drones that crashed on the territory of our country on Sunday were “Russian decoy drones used to mislead Ukrainian anti-aircraft defenses”.

“There is and will be no evidence”, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman in Moscow, Maria Zaharova, said in a news conference.

“Again, no evidence has been presented that the drones are of russian origin and were launched from the territory of the Russian Federation. We are convinced that the evidence will never be presented because it does not exist”, Maria Zaharova emphasized. She called on the Chisinau authorities to drop anti-Russian rhetoric and not to give in to such provocations.

The Moscow MFA also points out that the russian armed forces do not use UAVs over the territory of Ukraine's neighbors, including Moldova. It says that the Ukrainian side also launched drones on the same day.
