Moscow to share experience with Chisinau in green space management

In the near future a workgroup from the Chisinau City Hall will pay an official visit to Moscow. The Moldovan delegation is to learn the Russian capital city’s experience in cleanup works and green space management. Interim mayor Veaceslav Iordan mentioned on Tuesday, April 17 within a session at the City Hall that this visit by specialists from the municipal administration to the capital of the Russian Federation will mark the first result of the meeting he had at the end of the last week with the mayor of Moscow, Iuri Lujkov. The two mayors met in Istanbul, Turkey, where they participated in the IV World Mayors’ Summit. During the meeting, the two officials discussed cooperation opportunities in the domain of local administration between the two capitals, experience exchange between specialists of the Municipalities of Chisinau and Moscow. The parties agreed that they will extend the cooperation between economic entities from the two cities, expressing their willingness to contribute to the development of new economic and trade relations between Chisinau and Moscow. Interim Mayor of Chisinau Veaceslav Iordan stated that a close cooperation between the two capitals will essentially influence the relations between Moldova and the Russian Federation.
