Over 10,000 voters in ten electoral constituencies, namely Anenii Noi, Briceni, Cimișlia, Criuleni, Dondușeni, Drochia, Dubăsari, Nisporeni, Râșcani, and Taraclia, requested to vote with the mobile ballot box, IPN reports.

The Central Election Commission said 338 of all the applications came from persons with symptoms of COVID-19. In over 9,700 cases, there were invoked other reasons.

The persons who cannot go to polling stations for well-founded reasons will be able to vote at the place of stay after filing an application to this effect on the election day, until 3pm, by presenting a medical certificate. The voters with symptoms of COVID-19 can ask to vote at the place of stay without presenting a medical certificate.
