More fragments of a drone, similar to “Geran-2”, were detected on Saturday near Etulia Nouă village of Vulcănești district, on a field about 2 kilometers away from the Moldovan-Ukrainian border line and five kilometers away from the locality, IPN reports.

The Border Police said that as soon as the drone fragments were detected, access to the area was restricted. Following investigations at the site, it was determined that there was no explosive there and the area didn’t pose any risk to the community. The zone was completely cleaned.

The General Police Inspectorate noted that the fragments were picked up by experts of the Forensic Technology Center and are to be examined.
