The first monument in Moldova dedicate to the book will be unveiled in front of the Central Scientific Library “A. Lupan” on the Academy's Day marked on June 11, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communique, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova says the monument represents an open book that contains classical inscriptions that define the value and role of the book. It is made from white-greyish marble. A book exhibition themed “Science for the Society's Development” will be opened at “A. Lupan” Library the same day. A concert by the Academy's Choral Band will start in the Library's conference hall at 11.00.
