Parliament raised the monthly benefit provided to recipients of pensions from the Security Zone. A bill to this effect, submitted by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, was passed in the first reading, IPN reports.

The bill includes measures to support the residents of settlements of Dubasari, Causeni and Anenii Noi districts, which are located in the Security Zone. The benefit will rise from 200 to 900 lei, from 140 to 630 lei and, respectively, from 100 to 450 lei.

There were also set monthly benefits of 900 lei for women aged between 55 and 57 and for men aged between 60 and 62, who live in the villages Cocieri, Corjova, Cosnita, Molovata Nouă, Farladeni, Copanca, Dorotskaya, Parata, Varnita, and Hagimus and who do not receive pensions from the Transnistrian authorities.
