The General Division of Education, Youth and Sports of the Chisinau City Hall announced that the financial assistance provided to disadvantaged families for preparing students for the new school year 2024-2025 (phase I) was transferred to Moldova’s Post Office, IPN reports.

The money will be released by the payment service provider to the beneficiaries or their proxies upon the presentation of the identity card.

The beneficiary families have three months to collect the money. If they do not meet this deadline, they will no longer be able to claim these payments.

The disadvantaged families from Chisinau who educate school-age children benefit annually from a one-time allowance in the amount of 700 lei to buy school supplies for their students for the new school year.
