A draft Government decision published at the platform particip.gov.md envisions the allocation of 7.9 million lei from the executive’s reserve fund to the Dubasari District Council for making direct payments to the owners of farmland located beyond the Rabnita-Tiraspol route for 2017, IPN reports.

The owners of farmland are to get by 1,229.68 lei per hectare of owned farmland, based on the regulations approved by the Dubasari District Council.

The farmland situated beyond the Rabnita-Tiraspol route is 6,494.8 ha in area, which is 42% of the total area of the district.

The financial assistance will be provided based on the formula used in 2016, according to the lists approved then by the Dubasari District Council.

The farmland belongs to 5,561 owners from the villages Dorotkaia, Cosnita, Molovata Noua and Parata, who have been prevented by the Transnistrian administration from cultivating it. The Government compensates them partially for the sustained damage.
