The National Agency for Competition Protection on February 23 prescribed suspending the decision to adjust the tariffs on fixed-line phone services from March 1 made by the Administration Board of SA Moldtelecom, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, the Agency says that it took such a decision following the dissatisfaction that aroused in society, the contradictory discussions on this subject between the members of the Cabinet and an extraordinary meeting called by Acting President Marian Lupu. The Agency will inform additionally about the results of the inspection carried out at the phone carrier immediately after the examination procedures are finished. Until then, SA Moldtelecom will have to preserve the current tariffs.
