The children's home in Cernoleuca received candies, fruit and toys from the national telecoms carrier Moldtelecom. The company's administration visited the 36 children on June 2, on the occasion of the International Children's Day, accompanied by actors of Guguta Theater who staged a puppet show, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the press service of Moldtelecom. Also, the company offered the 11 graduates of the institution by a bank account of 1,000 lei and clothing for the graduation ball. SA Moldtelecom has patronized the institution since 2001. In 2001- 2010, it made donations of about 4 million lei to the children's home. The money was used to purchase and install an autonomous thermal station, repair the canteen, the dormitory and bathroom, organize the summer vacation, buy school supplies, etc. The social projects are a component part of the activities carried out by Moldtelecom. During the last few years, the company provided technical support and goods to the kindergarten-creche No. 1 in Bubuieci village of Anenii-Noi district, the secondary school in Criuleni town, the secondary school in Hartopul Mare, Criuleni. In 2007, Moldtelecom started to connect the national schools to the Internet through the Salt Program. More than 1,600 education institutions have been connected to the Internet so far.
