The official sponsor of Moldova’s National Olympic Committee (NOC) is the country’s main fixed phone operator Moldtelecom, which will support 31 Moldovan athletes throughout the Summer Olympics in Beijing, from August 8 to 24. The delegation of Moldova’s NOC is also composed of 10 coaches, 9 team leaders, 5 officials, a sponsor, 2 doctors and 2 massagers. Moldtelecom said in a press release the initiative to sponsor the NOC further outlines its goal to become a responsible member of the community and support the performances of the Moldovan sports. Moldtelecom’s team is calling on the public to cheer for the Moldovan athletes participating in the Olympics and live moments of excitement together with them.
