Dan Mitriuc has quit as general director of Moldtelecom, the national telecoms operator announced in a press statement.

“During Dan Mitriuc’s period in office, Moldtelecom saw the fastest pace of growth on almost all fronts, both as measured against other operators and against the overall situation on the telecommunications market, earning the appreciation and the confidence of our customers,” said the press statement.

“The company’s development strategy has been focused on improving our clients’ experience and developing innovating services that meet the needs of users of advanced technologies.”

“Thanks to Dan Mitriuc’s contribution, Moldtelecom became the leading operator in terms of integrated solutions on the local telecommunications market,” according to the press statement.

Dan Mitriuc thanked his colleagues for support, cooperation and responsibility, and expressed his hope that the team will remain consolidated and determined to develop the company at the same pace.

Mitriuc hasn’t explained the reasons for his departure.
