The national archery team won two bronze medals at the European Indoor Championships held in Croatia. Both were won in events contested by women.

In the U-18 women’s category, Moldova’s Kasandra Berzan, Nicoleta Clima and Nicoli Streapunina defeated the Croatian team in the bronze medal game, 6-2.

In the senior women’s category, Moldova’s Alexandra Mîrca, Nadejda Celan and Varvara Tisliuc defeated Iceland, 5-4.

In the men’s category, Dan Olaru, Mihai Sadoveanu and Sergiu Sorici placed 5th in the team competition. In the individual rankings, Dan Olaru, placed 9th and qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris.
