He stressed Moldova’s readiness to contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine by carrying out projects that will bring benefits to both Ukrainian and Moldovan citizens.
“We focus on projects to improve infrastructure and logistics processes and also on those in the energy sector. At the same time, we develop the business infrastructure so as to attract as many investment projects as possible, including oriented towards Ukraine’s market and needs,” said Dorin Recean, being quoted in a press release of the Government’s press service.
In this connection, the Premier referred to the opportunities offered by Moldova to entrepreneurs and the areas with prospects in which they can successfully develop businesses. These include the energy sector, with the focus on green energy, pharmaceuticals, information technology, electronics and the automotive industry.
For her part, the U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker noted that the United States will remain a reliable partner of Moldova in the efforts to modernize the country, improve connectivity, attract investments and implement the European agenda.
