Adriana Adam was the first representative of Moldova who competed in bobsleigh at the Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne. She ranked 24th, reaching the highest speed of 118.8 km/hour, IPN reports.
In the men’s singles, Marius Goncear finished the 27th with the best result of 122.7 km/hour. The women’s doubles in bobsleigh will also take place today. Moldova is represented by Adriana Adam and Aliona Busuioc.
Biathletes Victor Șendrea and Antonia Cebotari competed in the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics earlier.
